PhD project

My PhD project focuses on reasoning and argumentation in science and collective decision making. To that end, I use formal modeling tools from Bayesian epistemology, decision theory, and information theory. Furthermore, as my project is part of the Graduate School of Systemic Neurosciences, I am interested in relating these formal models to empirical insights from neuroscience and psychology to understand how they relate to descriptive facts about human reasoning.
